The Fall Marketing Window Just Opened. Here Is What the First Two Weeks Should Look Like

Woman in black scrubs walks through a modern clinic, holding a tablet, with a treatment room, sofa, plant, and pendant light behind her.

Labor Day is symbolic for a reason. The patient is back from the last vacation. The routine restarts. The mirror gets more honest. The window for the strongest quarter of the year is open. The practices that treat the next two weeks as the on switch are the ones that own Q4.

Here is what should be happening this week and next.

Week one. The reactivation signal

Every dormant patient list has patients who are ready to move now. Not all of them. But more than most practices assume. Week one is the reactivation signal. A light, warm, direct message to the list acknowledging the seasonal shift. Not an offer yet. An invitation to think about fall.

The goal in week one is not conversion. It is temperature. Which patients open the email. Which patients reply. Which patients start booking consults directly. That signal tells you where the demand is concentrated before you commit to a treatment for the first fall event.

Week two. The announcement

If the first fall event is going to hit in late September or early October, the announcement goes out this week. Twenty one day runway is the minimum. The reactivation signal from week one tells you what treatment to feature and what giveaway will move the room.

If the first fall event is later in October, the announcement can wait one more week. But the reactivation is not optional. That is what preserves the list for the events that follow.

The Q4 you build starts in the first two weeks of September. The practices that treat September as a soft launch are the ones with the busy November.

What you should also be doing this week

Locking in the provider calendar for October and November event nights. Once patients start booking consults from the first fall touches, the provider calendar fills fast. Block the event nights before the consults do.

Briefing the front desk on the fall calendar. Even if the first event is three weeks away, the team should know it exists so incoming calls can be routed correctly. The reactivation email will generate calls. The team needs to be ready.

Confirming manufacturer and rep partnerships. Reps are back in the market post Labor Day. This is the week to lock in co funded giveaways and product commitments for the fall events.
