October and November: The Two Highest Revenue Months of the Year, and How to Sequence Them

For most aesthetic practices, October and November together produce more revenue than any other two month stretch of the year. Not because the treatments are different. Because the patient is finally ready. Fall photos. Holiday parties. End of year visibility. Every psychological trigger the practice has been waiting on is firing at once.

The mistake most practices make is treating October and November as one long window. They are not. They are two different windows with different patient thinking. Sequence them well and they compound. Sequence them flat and each event competes with the last one.

October. The runway treatments

October wants treatments that need a runway to show results by the holidays. Body contouring. Skin tightening. Laser resurfacing. Hair restoration. These are the treatments the patient is willing to commit to now because they know they will not see the payoff for weeks.

A strong October event uses this urgency. The messaging is explicit. Start now to look like yourself at the holidays. That is the reason to move in October instead of November.

November. The moment treatments

November wants treatments that pay off immediately. Botox. Filler. Skin smoothing facials. Regenerative facials. Anything that gives the patient a visible result within a week or two. The patient is thinking about a specific event, a photo, a party, a family gathering. The treatment has to hit the moment.

A strong November event compresses the decision timeline. Book, treat, and reveal within three to four weeks. The special has a deadline that lines up with Thanksgiving or the first company parties. That is the reason to move in November instead of December.

October is the runway. November is the moment. Treat them as two events, not one.

How to sequence them so they compound

Same list. Different segments. The October event is targeted at patients whose engagement history suggests they will commit to a runway treatment. Contouring patients, laser patients, and hair patients. The November event is targeted at patients whose engagement history suggests moment treatments. Injectable patients and facial patients.

Different giveaways. October wants a giveaway that supports the runway treatment. A complimentary follow up session, or a bonus treatment in the same category. November wants a giveaway that shows up fast. A complimentary facial add on, a curated skincare bundle, or a bonus injectable unit.

Different offers. October offers reward commitment. Package pricing, multi cycle plans, or credits toward the runway treatment. November offers reward speed. Book within seven days, treat within fourteen. The offer language moves the patient the way the season already wants them to move.

What we do with the practices we work with

The October event lands in the first three weeks of October. The November event lands in the second or third week of November, well before Thanksgiving. Both events are announced with a 21 day runway. Both events use the same list but segment the messaging. Both events run on the same post event rhythm. What changes is the treatment, the giveaway, and the pacing of the offer.
